Regarding perfecting my style: to me its not perfected, I’m always thinking about ways to move it onwards and hunting down little flaws and weaknesses in my drawing. You just have to keep at it.
Look at the work of your favourite artists and think about what it is in their work that you like. Maybe see if you can create something to the same effect. Trying to be unique can be very difficult, so I’d advise trying to be plain good rather than being original.
I’m currently focusing on working out what I enjoy doing and how I enjoy working more than anything else. I would suggest anyone else does that too. Take on a few commissions drawing stuff you have no interest in and you’ll feel the same.
My main point of advice would be to just practice loads, keep drawing and do what you enjoy. I think in doing that you will naturally come to find something of your own.
